XC60 ciggy lighter sockets, level of power issue

Hi guys and girls,

Got a small issue with my ciggy lighters/12V sockets on MY2010 XC60 D3 drive.

The two centre console cigarette sockets don't like having things plugged into both of them at the same time.

I'm trying to plug in a dash camera and a pure DAB highway 600. One or the other will only work unfortunately and it's winding me up something rotten! Could anyone she'd any light? It's not blowing the fuse at all...the usb socket in the storage compartment is not an option as it does not work.

Those items don't take much power, so you've got an electrical problem on the car. Check the fuse isn't loose first, then move on to checking the wiring on the rear of the sockets, then everything in between.
