Fuel Injection pump (removing)

Hi wondering is it big job and do you have any tips on taking Fuel Pump on VolVo S40 2litre diesel 2004 (And is it better get a new pump or get old one recondition) the sealing is gone and its leaks drops the diesel into the engine i seen on ebay 150 Eur's for Fuel pump but would recondition would be cheaper ??

anyone ? and when u change it to other one do you need bleed the car ??
