V50 radio trim question

Can the silver trim surrounding the radio and climate control be removed as mine has been scratched and I'm thinking of replacing it

Yes, pretty easy really. I've replaced it on my wife's V50 without issue.

Lots of good demos on YouTube showing removal and disassembly, not hard at all. Replacements from Volvo are expensive (£226 for the centre console) but plenty on eBay.

Taken me a while the first time though lol

Also, I have a center console inc door handles ect spare in the garage but they are the old look ones if your interested. I did change mine to the silver one and scratched it then wrapped it black...... Or that could be a easy fix for yourself, have a look at some vinyl wrap

Same thing really except it has the letters in the proper alphabetical order like they should be
