Door Handle Bracket
Hi.
My front drivers side door handle mechanism has broken and I can’t actually take mine off yet so can’t see the part number to order a new one. I can’t find any Right hand drive ones on eBay to copy from. Is there a website somewhere of blow-up diagrams or part number lists for such a part? It’s for a 53 plate. Cheers. |

Is it the inner handle that no longer works ? This is on the S60 https://youtu.be/Jd7JNhUrD1g There are several part no so may want to look up on Ebay for a used one from an XC90. I doubt Volvo would sell the plastic part separately, and the whole door card may be quite expensive. However it can be 'patched' to work, using a metal clamp or alike

I'm glad it's all sorted, but could you let us know what you needed to do to get it working again?
That way the knowledge pool is expanded, and we will love you forever. Cheers Dave |

You basically need the part I was asking for. It’s the internal bracket that holds the external door handle on. I’ve found one on eBay for £35. I’ll (attempt) to fit it when it arrives next week. I’d upload a photo to show it broken as I have had the door panel off but I have no idea how to do that on this site
Cheers. |

Thanks Fred, that'll be great.
To add photos to your post, 1 - select "Go Advanced" and then 2 - select "Manage Attachments" 3 - then "Browse" to find the attachments (that you have previously saved somewhere handy on your PC...) 4 - "Select" the files and then "Upload" them There are size limits so you may have to make the files a bit smaller but that's the same everywhere. You can "preview" your post to check the files have attached OK Then "Submit" Hope this helps Cheers Dave |
