Volvo V60 2011 1.6 dRive Looking to purchase
Morning all,
Looking to see please If you cohld offer any advise please? I'm looking to purchase either a 2011 1.6 drive with 75k on the clock or either a 2011 d5 with 75k on the clock. What will I have to look out for? Are there any series worries or concerns with the engines above? Thanks in advance Matt |

My 1.6 drive was a V70, but I found it to be reliable enough and economical. Certainly not powerful, but enough and I took mine fully laden regularly on Bavarian Autobahns.
Things that needed maintenance. DMF at 98,000 miles. I took the opportunity to change clutch kit, slave/bearing and gearbox oil at the same time. Belts were due at 86,000 I believe. Parts were dirt cheap as common to other manufacturers’ cars. Tax was £30. Insurance for me £148. Self-serviced around £28 minor, £48 major.

Thanks for the feedback, I also read that they were prone to oil leaks. Anybody know how true this is
