Mobile pairing V70
Hi Guys, Have had a quick search on forum as per this title, but can't seem to find anything, so here goes..... I've followed the user manual for my recently bought V70 (2009) but can't pair my mobile to the audio system. It states that the system doesn't have a phone, which of course I know. My mobile bluetooth is switched on etc, the problem is the process with the system stuck thinking it doesn't have a phone if that makes sense! Anyone any ideas?

It may be that your car doesn't physically have Bluetooth and that is why it is saying "No Phone" as opposed to not having a phone paired up.
Let me know your registration number and I'll check for you. Thanks Marc |

Hi,
The extras on your vehicle are (See attached screenshot also) HEATED FRONT SEATS SUNROOF HEADLAMP CLEANERS FLOOR CARPETS POWER CHILDLOCK REAR DOOR TEMPORARY SPARE WHEEL CHILDSEAT OUTER HEATED WASHER NOZZLES PASSENGER AIRBAG CUT-OFF 17" WHEEL CASSINI It is a 2010 model year vehicle at which time Bluetooth wasn't standard (see attached specification guide from the time) so I'm afraid it looks like you don't have Bluetooth. |

Thanks for taking the time to help. No worries. I have wired up a link to my mobile so it can operate hands free. However ideally it would be nice to operate the mobile for outward calls using the audio system phone keys via bluetooth. I know its possible to get a bluetooth aftermarket link but I presume that also can't permit use of the in-built phone key on the audio system.

With regards to using the phone keypad on the car this would only be possible if the vehicle had Bluetooth from the Factory.
