Magazine cover shoot in Yorkshire
I'm looking for an Amazon to take part in a cover shoot for a classic car magazine. The shoot will be in Yorkshire on Thursday 19 September.
The car needs to be in good condition inside and out, completely unmodified and in a bright colour. I'll need to drive it briefly so I can write driving impressions, and the car will be covered under the magazine's insurance for this. If you're interested send me a message on here or email andrew@pgan.com and I can fill in the details. |

Do we get a please, or a thanks? If we don't get those I doubt we get expenses...

Yes I could have said "please send me a message".
The magazine will pay for fuel and food on the day. |

Can't say here, I'm afraid, because it's commercially sensitive. I can't PM you because the forum won't let me but if you email me at andrew@pgan.com I can give you more details.

Commercially sensitive?
I didn't realise that "industry" was so cut throat

As a fellow motoring writer (hi Andrew!) perhaps I can add a bit of context here. There are a couple of factors at least at play here. Andrew's features are often the lead for that magazine and get prime placement on the magazine cover. That counts for quite a lot in newsstands and the last thing that magazine will want is another magazine pipping them to the post with a cover appealing to the same audience,. Secondly, the advertising will be trying hard to get display adverts from companies selling to Volvo owners and enthusiasts; again, they won't want to lose that competitive advantage.
