My ecu gives me problems and I want to buy another one from 1998 but I would like to know the reference number since I don't know if the one you have installed is the correct one for your year

Are you aware of verlog codes ? An Ecu from another car will not work unless you clear the Verlog code first still fitted in the car it was working with . , when you plug it in the other car the CEM loads the verlog code into the blank ECU.

I bought my car second-hand and it already had breakdown light problems and hot start problems, the ecu was tuned and I really don't know if it has the right one for the same year, so I want to buy a used one but I don't want to be wrong year, when I bought it, I will have to take it to the tuner to make it work in my vehicle, but I need to know the reference so as not to make a mistake in the purchase

auto or manual transmission ?

from what you say it sounds like low fuel pressure , pumps do fail after 100.000 miles

ECU
Manual = 8251350
Automatic = 8251580

,at first glance, the year 2000 and 98 are the same on the outside, even the pins look the same, I can't see that reference in the ecu, I get many numbers
