Default Double din touch screen fitting

Has anyone had any experience with fitting a double din touch screen (nav/ dab etc) coupled with a rear camera, in an XC90?
Halfords offer a pioneer for £399 with £50 fitting but am not sure they are up to the task of fiddling with the wires..
Anyone had this done and is it worth it and an idea of cost to get it done?

They wouldn't do a good job at 50 GBP for fitting

You have to remove / replace the amplifier under the front right-hand seat
And run a bunch of new wiring as the headunit will need some beefier wires
And the speakers all terminate under the front right-hand seat, so all the speaker wires need extending

And remember you loose all audio:

No more buiilt-in phone audio (neither bluetooth nor hardwired phone)
No more parking sensor audio (no beeps)
No more nav audio (no voice instructions)

Just be aware.
Whether that impacts you or not depends on your vehicle and what you plan to do.

Aftermarket HU will likely have Bluetooth and nav built in no reason why you couldn’t either use the existing amp or replace it just need a HU with pre outs there may be some interface leads to the factory controls common these days to finpt android based HU that can be customised. Speak to a few local car audio places see what they recommend
