C70: Volvo VR300 CD Player

After 4 painful and hard days of trying to get my speaker sound to work after fitting a aftermarket JVC Headunit, iv decided to fit a Volvo CD player, i have the chance to buy a Volvo VR300 CD Player and i just wondered two things-

1.will this fit and work in my volvo 2000 c70 coupe?
2. The owner doesnt have the code, will it need a code?

You were given 3 solutions in your original thread.
1. Buy the RCA to DIN adapter
2. Make the adapter
3. Run 4 sets of speaker wires from the JVC to the factory amp in the boot. The wiring that comes off the amp is the standard speaker colors, purple,gray,green, and white.
VR300 model is unknown to me, normally you see HU-xxx, and SC-xxx model numbers. Good luck.

VR300 I think is the model of the changer, not the Head unit.
