If so, has that had an adverse effect on their car's C4 treatment?

Thank you.

.
If you wax the car and get it on the black trim With C4 on, its as easy/hard to get off as if you had no C4 on, (dont hit the trim with wax )
other wise , it really is a "apply it, forget for 2+ years"

Prep IS the key
even if it means sitting on a stool (cos id put my back out) with a nail brush scrubbing the trim and rinse off , dry it and apply c4 as per the instructions

My S40 had C4 applied,
it got snowfoamed (often), lived outside, was washed And waxed ,, very often, it had TFR used on it, it had Everything the roads kick/splash up on it, birds used the car as "target practice" when they were re-creating "the dambusters" raid,, even seaguls got the roof trim, it all washed off and still looked like "black trim" for nearer 3 years than 2,
dad's astra estate ,, same thing but with FAR less wash/waxings

My V50 now has it and i have Black trim on the V50 that i know will Stay black regardless for 2+ years ,,

I just highlighted your words with my mouse, right-clicked then clicked "Search Yahoo for "where do you buy the wurth plastic dye? im in manchester anywhere local?" and got these results :

https://search.yahoo.com/search?p=wh...l&type=default

About the 7th result was :

https://www.wurth.co.uk/en/wurth_gb/...radeStores.php

which shows they have a Trade Store in Manchester.

Two results below that came this :

https://eshop.wurth.co.uk/en/GB/GBP

Typed "plastic Dye" into their search bar and found 2 products, one of which is black :

https://eshop.wurth.co.uk/Plastic-pa...aignName=SR001

Several options there, go to their trade shop or buy it from their online shop.

I finally got my mitts on some C4 and used it yesterday. Astonishing stuff, my plastics look brand new! Very expensive for a little bottle of jollop but really, REALLY does the job. Thanks for the recommendations, all!

Often the way Phil - Meguiars Endurance Tyre Gel is similarly pricey :

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Meguiars-...l/153195315984

That's £7.49 for a USA pint (works out as £9.36 for a UK pint) but a little goes a long way and it does last as well. Did my Coupé tyres 2 years ago for a show and when i sold it a few months ago, they still looked good. Still got plenty of it left as well, quite surprising really as i used it on the black trim on my Rovers (both at the time) as most of it is a sort of rubber rather than plastic.

Ooh that looks good! I need to get my mitts on some of that. The Dracos are off for a refurb on Monday (I had planned to do it myself but I’m short on space for spraying and good weather, and had an unexpected bit of commission for selling a guitar for a pal so decided to use it to get the wheels done!) so when they’re back i think some of this would be just the job for the tyres.
