Default Testing recirc valve on a t5

Trying to illiminate My recirc valve incase its faulty.Can i check if it holds vaccum and what Reading should i get ?

Have you checked your actual boost pressure ?
You can just undo the three retaining screws/bolts on the recirc valve diaphragm cover and check the diaphram for splits, cuts or holes and that the spring is ok.
The T.C.V valves can get lazy on them with age as well.
