Help with alternator belt req'd
I have a 1997 V70 2.5t. It has aircon. It's an auto, if that makes a difference.
I'm trying to buy a serpentine belt for it, but there are so many different variations, my head is now spinning. Could anyone tell me the correct size belt I need for this, please? Would it be the same size as the 2.5n/a? Any help greatly appreciated. |

If there's any lettering left on the old belt it should tell you the size in mm, something like 6pk2155 for example, this would mean 6 ribs and 2155mm long,
this is just an example and NOT the size you need. Alternatively if you go on Eurocarparts site, put in the reg. no. it should come up with the right belt. Hope this helps |

To get it absolutely right phone FRF Volvo - right belt @ the right price if you quote C3 - nb don't forget to replace the tensioner as well.

I've ordered a belt from carparts4less.
It's the only place that advertised the belt for aircon and for a 1997 car. Most of the rest I looked at were from 1998 onwards. We'll see. |
