As for Galaxie Wagons, only found 2 on ebay.com - loads of sedans, hardtops (saloons and Coupés in English) but very few wagons :

Both white, the early one is about 4 times the price of the later one though!

Your original question was, yes. Then some unnecessary post slating those of us who don't know what Beurs is! "Stupid effing assumption of mine thinking Volvo enthusiasts would know about Beurs."

A less-abrupt reply could've read "For those of you who don't know what Beurs is - here's a link!"

I can't imagine you act in real life like you do on this forum - if you do, I'm sure someone would've clouted you by now!

Interesting viewing there Jon but again, the same story - no wagons!
All other variants, sedan, soft top, hard top etc including the 500XL and 500 LTD but no wagons!

Running any potentially fuel-heavy car on LPG (or Propane as they call it stateside) is always a good option, in fact it's a good option even if the car in question isn't that thirsty!

Living where i live i tend to see a lot more USA models on a regular basis than most people get to see in this country but i don't think i've ever seen a Galaxie Wagon - seen a late 60s/early 70s Mercury Cougar wagon though (similar, same platform?) with the roll-down rear window in the tailgate. That was fairly recent as well. Quick look on Hemmings is the same story as the Galaxie though, all variants except the wagon.

My dad started the fair back in the early 90s.

Not enough of an incentive for me to attend this year, and not a very interesting drive (circa 430 miles, M42, M1, E40 - yawn - and 9 hours) plus I'm leading a club ride on the Saturday. Oh, and no-one's asked!!!1
