All for it! Just bought myself a '79 245 on Saturday and tonight was the first time I was in the 480 again since then. I forgot how nippy it was, and how fun they are to drive.

The best thing is, I was driving it to and from the MOT center... she passed with flying colours!

Here's a picture of her with her elder, just before I changed the front clusters and number plates for the test! Oh, and another just to prove you don't need an old school RWD Volvo to be cool!

dont need any more raced a 250 bhp 200sx kept with him all the way to 80 why waste any more money when its bloody quick enogh allready for a 300 pound pile of lol

oh my mates going to be jelous you have clear fron lights no horrible orange indicators lol...hes going for knightrider look and has got the whole front lights black like kitt looks totally 80's retro ...

I just changed from the clear to the orange clusters for MOT!! The clear clusters warn't in very good condition, and cracked etc.

Very interested to see what his car looks like all blacked-out at the front? I was considering doing similar after I found an 80s red LED car accessory for replicating Kitt - The front clusters are waaay to expensive to be messing with, though!!

ha ha will put pics of kitt on l8r as for red kitt lights just dont get caught by old bill with em 30 pound fine thats what my mate got a few years ago ina black rover lol

nope but the car is getting a brand new one never been used and a full service so i might take it in and have it rolling roaded and set up after.... heres a pic of my lovely bmw fully functional vented side repeaters ....
