Default Spark plug change

Hi any one know what miles the plugs should be changed my t5 xc60 has just got 18000 miles should they be changed at that mileage.phoned main agent and they want o do a service and change plugs £500 it had a service at 14300 miles but no plug change ,i think they are trying to get work would like views from others with late t5 models cheers

I don't know about the XC60 and I assume its the 2.0 T5.

However, generally plugs for these sort of cars have something like 30,000 mile is change intervals.

I personally change mine every 10,000 miles or annually, which ever comes first on all my petrol cars. I never have and never will, agree with the gzillion mile service item intervals.

Sparks normally get changed every 25-30k miles.

If it's just a bog standard Volvo nothing special, not running high boost ect

Then between 20k to 30k should be good. Unless your have spark issues then yes. Change them
