While you're waiting for someone who knows what they are talking about to come along, I believe it's an option that may or not have been fitted.

From looking at the manuals and a Google search, I don't think the V40 can have Android Auto, except as a third-party retrofit.

Some details from a few months ago on another forum, might give you some idea of what's possible.
