I take it your car is a Diesel?

Have you checked with volvo how much the DPF filters are?

Now I dont have a Diesel so cant comment on how or the price but on another forum they keep mentioning that the VW type DPF filters are upwards of £1000.

Dont forget, you can just top up the tank. You NEED to have the counter reset at dealer or indy with the right software, or you will get an error message at some time.

Just wondered if the one you found for £275 is an exchange part? If you don't have to return the old one then take it down to your local metal recycling centre where they should give you around £200 for it making the part only £75!

I'm not at all guaranteeing that you'll get £200 for it or that your supplier won't want the old one back (they won't give you £200 for it but may charge an additional surcharge) but as they price of scrap metal is quite high at the moment its worth doing some research first.

Have the tried regenerating it? Minimum 2500 revs for at least 20 minutes - take it for a blast up the motorway in 4th gear
