getting the best from a red block
I'd love a T5 in my 240 but for now the 2.0 will hg ave to do.
What upgrades help squeeze out some ponies? |

Fitting a more aggressive cam -- perhaps a VX cam (if it'll fit a B200).

For big power the redblock turbo is the way forward. The 5 and 6 cylinder whiteblock engines are smoother and will still make reasonable power.
With what you have already, respectable power can be made with just a cam, exhaust and change of inlet. K cam, twin 40 weber type carbs and a free flowing exhaust would see you north of 140BHP. 45's would see further gains and the engine will take hotter cams than the K. There is a lot you can dow ith cylinder head work but it is costly for the power gains made |

There's a guy in the sales section of the 900/700 section on this forum selling a 2.3 turbo engine with an m90 gearbox for £180...

start camshaft and pulley
exhaust all of these will need a fair bit of money but if you don't want a full engine swap the easiest. if you want a easy ish swap look for a 2.3 N/A block, slightly more difficult Turbo 2.3 out of a 940 |
