S90 Royal with Hermes leather in Japan!!
Found this 98 S90 Royal for sale on a Japanese used car website, in Japanese of course but the pictures speak for themselves!
http://www.gooworld.jp/usedcar/sprea...110415002.html Level 3 Royal/Executive with handmade Hermes leather interior, only 30 ever produced & exclusively for Japanese market. Also the only Royal/Executive with birch instead of walnut wood trim I believe. Price is 1,280,000 yen or £9,500. Wish I have that much spare cash in my bank account right now... |

S90 Royal in Japan
Overall it is a stunning car, but the plastic in the driver's door oddments box still looks quite weak from what I can judge.

S90 Royal in Japan
Hi volvo-express,
I don't know whether you are agreeing or dis-agreeing with my comment about the door plastic? but in the spirit of the forthright views which are now being expressed I would comment as follows. For a car which has been produced for 20 plus years it seems to me that the flimsy piece of plastic that keeps breaking in most 740s et al should have been strengthened or re-designed long before now. I expected that the S90 Royal with so many upgrades and luxury fitments would have had some modification because of this weakness? Otherwise, as I said it is a stunning car, and a pleasure to view. regards, learngolf |
