Never mind the Volvo showroom, you can be more than proud to have it parked on your drive.
I have to admit I'm not one for car polishing etc, but I do applaud the effort you have made even to the extent of rebuilding the bumpers, the result looks superb.

I'll second that.

Thanks for your kind words DaveNP & turboboy. I'm very happy with the results and it's going to be difficult to find another this good

GTechniq C4 applied to the bumpers now and the Rubber Clenz assigned to the bin

Attention to detail, I even painted the torx bolts that hold the bumper on... I fear my OCD is getting worse 🤣🤣

You're so fortunate to have found such a good example and well done on returning it to its former glory. Fabulous motor, 4x4, I just love it!

And thanks for the heads-up regarding the trim resto

Car's looking fantastic, hope it's wearing plates in the original Charles Wright font opposed to 2001 type?!

I can only hope mine one day looks even remotely that good sir, absolutely spiffing effort. I just picked mine up yesterday, but of a project and certainly a lot to do so I shall be referring to this thread for inspiration! Fantastic job that man!
