I think we're going to have to ask the moderators to apply a filter to some of the images in this thread

You're going to need get some chrome 850 sill covers to protect that lovely paintwork. Surprised your GLT didn't have them fitted as standard.

Were they standard fit on the GLT? I thought they were options on all models bar the CD. Often wondered as I have a minor hankering for some as my GLT doesn't have them.

Maybe if I load my images to photobucket and let them carry out their money grabbing filter censorship

I've never seen the chrome sill covers, now I need to search for them and see what I'm missing

EDIT. Just spent the last hour looking at chrome sill covers and sill skirts and there were two different types. Early side skirts came with sill covers and later ones were flat on top (like mine) and never had chrome sill covers fitted

Naughty but nice, number plates to complete the look...

I am trying very, very hard to conceal my jealousy. It is not working. You have done a great job there sir. If I can eventually get mine looking just a third as good and clean as that I will be very happy indeed! Top work.

Just been sent the specification on my 850 as per the original owners options order

The rear spoiler was ordered as an extra which I expected but I was surprised to see that the Columba wheels were also ordered with the car when new which makes me wonder why I was supplied with two sets of wheels, the 16" Columba which are on the car and 15" Antlia which I've now sold

Ooooh where did you get that from? Be interesting to see what mine was ordered with and see what's left on it now! The original owner obviously had good taste I would say.

Can't help myself, I still wasn't happy with the reflection from the silver sand paintwork so had a third go at polishing it today and my OCD is satisfied for now. Hard to believe the paintwork is over 23 years old
