Just to let you know that's my car, well was my car!! Deal was they would buy/rent it off me long term and could work something out at the end of filming. I couldn't afford to have it on the road at the time and hadn't put any money into it so was win win but after seeing it on telly thinking it would be good to follow up and get it back sometime soon!!

Hi all just had to bring this posting bang up to date.
Just finished watching a film on BBC1 called "Mousehunt"starring Nathan Lane and Lee Evans.Filmed in 1997.
It had a PV445 as thier main car and was in lots of shots and unusual for volvo's in films it didn't get trashed?It was white and got through the snow very easily.

First ever episode of Morse is on right now and they just drove past a parked, round headlight, 245

I think the episode is from around 1984 (newest number plate I've seen is D reg).

The first epsiode ("The Dead of Jericho") of Morse was shown in January 1987 - so the D registered car was fairly new then.

The D plate was first issued in August of 1986.

Am a Morse fan, but no anorak!

There was a baby blue 245 in the background at a scene outside the garage in Neighbours this afternoon.....unwashed looking....I have no idea if its regular or not?

Ahh the joys of shiftwork...daytime tv.....not

I dont know if it has been mentioned before, but what about in monty pythons meaning of life, where those people having a dinner party go to heaven in there volvo estate?

Meant to put this up last year. A late 70's estate made an appearance in a trailer for a programme I imagine some of you, if not all of you will be completely addicted to - The only way is Essex

I don't think anyone has mentioned the Volvo saloons driven by Geoffrey Palmer in the BBC sitcom Butterflies. Here is a good scene of the newer model he drives (with mini), complete with classic Volvo radio shot, starting at 2:23 -
