HELP please. No dash lights at position 2!
When I turn key to position 2 I get no dash lights. when I turn the key a wee bit more towards starting they come on. This all started when a anti skid service message came on which has now gone. Any one had this problem or any one have any ideas? Car starts ok.

Delighted with Inverness Volvo.
Fantastic service from dealer!!
Posted recently about my dash going crazy, lights warnings etc. it all pointed towards switch. Local garage changed this at a charge of£200 and still no change all though still had to pay. Went to various other local garages and no one had a clue. I then decided to send it over to Inverness Volvo. They diagnosed it within 2 days and I hadn't even booked it in. It was a control module for ignition switch and I was told it was going to cost £300 + vat + labour! After spending the other £200. A few days went by and they still hadn't done the job so I kept on top of them. Then came the phone call - good news mr Macleod, we are going to get all the work covered by Volvo warranty!! Due to some recall that was linked to my problem. So happy with the result and restores my faith in dealer garages as I would only have used them as a last resort before. Ive just booked my service with Inverness Volvo now. Top blokes to deal with. (and women)! |
