front bumper removal
hi ,ive treated my self to a newshape front grill , has any one got a step by step guide on how to take off the front bumper so i can fit the grill ,, 2008 v50 r-design with winter pack ,, thanks in advance

you dont need to remove bumper use plastic bone there are a dozen plastic clips that need pushed in very easy job

They say its easy......but yet somehow I've never managed to get mine out. I'm opting for the easier route of removing the bumber. Although if you have a replacement one then just pull away at it.

The lugs on the old and new grilles are the same so just offer the new grill up towards the old and you will know exactly where the lugs are that you now need to dislodge.
As you dislodge a lug you will have to keep a bit of pulling pressure on the grille so the lug doesn't relocate. It should litterally be a few minute job. Just don't go wadding in with screwdrivers as you WILL most likely damage/scratch something. |
