I can't see the picture either - I can't even see there's supposed to BE a pic If it's D-D then it won't fit the space I have. Nuts!
There's only a couple of roadworthy 1500 Specials atm but I think there's a couple more known about that are under restoration. It's hard to get good figures because some have been off-road for so long that they're considered "lost" when you sue those sites like HowManyLeft. |

I dragged an Equipe out of a garage that been there since the 80's. There was only around 10 known to the club at the time, this was the 11th! It was mega rotten but now being re-shelled by another club member.

I'd love to get an Equipe sometime, but they're so rarely for sale unless they're basket cases... Ah well Saved a series 1 VP yesterday, over 100k on the clock and off road for 5 years; only needed a rear brake cylinder & track rod for the MoT!
I'm now confused: I looked at this from home & still didn't see a picture. Am I going mad or what? Is this a single or double DIN?

No, there's no pic to see, and it is DOUBLE DIN too.
Here's a pic of a different SC-805. Mine's the same.

Ah, okay then. Yeah, I have the old style 240 dash with the single DIN at the very bottom, then the ashtray right above it; I'd rather not carve it up, so I'm afraid I'll definitely be passing
