Payouts possible over mis-selling of used cars

I recall some time ago a used XC60 was purchased, ex-hire stock (not known at the time of purchase) and it later transpired there had been poorly repaired accident damage. The car had 'moved' through the dealer network, so nobody knew the history. This will focus the mind of used car traders.
