There is a tiny, almost inaudible motor behind the dash that goes on for about a minute after the ignition has been turned off, if the radio is on, after that there is a very low, almost inaudible hum from the audio system when the volume is low., only audible when the ignition is off. I don't think you should have anything else.

Can I ask a favour I've always loved the wood trim but I've never seen the interior handles with the wood finish any chance of a pic or 2?

Oh and nice car, I think when I grow up a bit I'll go fo a V50 D5, loving the T5 too much at the minute though ;-)
