If you open the passenger door there is a key whole at the end of the dash to the side of the glove compartment. This turns the passenger airbag on or off. However it was an option so your car (like mine) may not have it

Thanks. Unfortunately ours doesn't have that switch and we've been quoted 400 quid to have it switched off. Which seems steep! But then again, what do I know?

Hmmm i'd guess that depends if its just deactivating it, for that money I'd want the switch so front seat adult passengers could travel more safely.
