If you get round to upgrading to the facelift mirror, let me know if you want rid of the smaller mirror caps, I'm after some to do some 'experimenting' but I can't seem to find the caps at a decent price all the scrapies will only sell the full mirrors

A place called the wheel specialist, they have a few franchises/shops in scotland (check out they're website), they originally started quoting over £350, like everywhere else locally I tried but kept offering discount as the had free time next weeks etc, eventually got them down to £264 for same day service, I then said I would just be dropping the wheels off ans wasn't bother if it took a few days etc,as the wheels were off the car they said they'd do it for £240 all in and next day service (think it would have been cheaper still if wheel had no tyres on them). So I'm fairly happy with that price as the strip the wheels, repair any damage then powder coat them, and they come with a 12 month guarantee something I didn't see anywhere else & as I paid £65 to have a buckle removed a couple of months ago £60 a wheel to get strip, repaired, & powder coated seems decent. Just got to decide on a colour thinking about matt black or dark chrome, but then a bit of me still fancies an ountrageous colour like bright orange or lime green....

Chameleon seem to be highly recommended by everyone I speak to about wheels. Let me know how you get on - I'm going to get my Medusas repaired, then done in anthracite and I was thinking of using Chameleon as it's about ten minutes past the Clyde Tunnel in Renfrew.

On another note - anyone here use these? http://www.alloygator.com/

Edit - not the yellow ones

Have to say a BIG thanks to T5_Monkey just been on to Chameleon they do the 4 wheels for £160 as I can leave the wheels with them for 3-5 days, they do £220 for a same day service, as I'm in no hurry £160 is fine for me!!!

I'm sure the wheel specialist had a similar product to the alloy gator for about the same cost I find be careful when parking is the best option
