So 13 of us made it and we beat the S**bs by three - VOC rules!!!!

But what was strange was that we had 11 "classic" Volvos (3 120/130's, 4 222's, 3 P1800, & a 142) and only 2 moderns, while the S**bs had 1 old S**B and 9 moderns! Their marshalling was excellent, they cleared the whole front of the Cafe so all the Volvos were parked together, with the other lot in the car park alongside.

In view of the wet conditions, just shows what a hardy bunch Amazon and P1800 owners are are!

I think everyone enjoyed the evening, I certainly did, it was good to put faces to the names you see on here.

I am going to contact the ACE to see if we can have another date next year, perhaps in a drier month next time and we might then see a few more modern Volvo's there!
