Default blower motor resistor 30767040 removal

Anyone ever done this? Looks easy on the pictures from Vida, but there is not enough space to get my tumb on this thing. I've removed the accelrator pedal, but the bracket is still in the way for a straight angel on it. Special tool or a good tip on the matter would be really helpful!! Tips?
And yes I've also removed the blower motor and can access it from both sides but the space is still limited. Also confusing witch way to turn this thing as Vida say anti-clockwise but there's an arrow on the back pointing clockwise. I've tried everything...

(This is in a 2009 v70 but I reckon many models fron that year has the same)
