Default V90 CC - Possible static/electric cracking sound

Hello,

I may be pushing my luck here, but does anyone know what could be causing a static discharge/electric cracking noise in the interior of my car? It seems to work its way around the car from front to back and I can only assume its coming from the speakers... It's a cracking noise similar to when you push plastic trim, if that makes sense?

It's very intermittent and I've had the car to the dealer but couldn't replicate due to it not happening at regular intervals. The technician installed a software update, but no luck. Interestingly it happened today and the Sensus rebooted twice. Also, every time it happens, I get the message "parking assist temporarily unavailable"

Anyone had anything similar or could shed any light on this?

Thanks!

This sounds like a loose connecton somewhere causing part of the parking pilot the system to drop out temporarily. Seeing as it flashed up an error message, the dealer should be able to see the error codes logged against the fault. It's also worth taking a picture of the error message so you have more evidence to hand when pursuing it with the dealer.
