Hi, I've got a 2002 xc70 D5 with sat nav system, it doesnt have a disc or remote control with it. Can anyone tell me what disc i need to get and if remotes are still available?

Thanks

You don't strictly need a remote control as the steering wheel buttons will control it, although I find the remote easier if not driving. I bought mine 2nd hand from ebay.

I assume the 2002 uses a DVD reader (rather than CD), it will say on the front of the reader.

Search ebay for 'volvo mmm P2001' and it will return the correct discs. Bear in mind that they come as a pack of 3 from new for various countries, so make sure you get the one that coves the region you need. I thing 2015 is the latest version available.

Try and find a genuine disc and there are a lot of pirate versions listed, these may or may not read correctly.

Ignore anything that says mmm+ or mmm2 as these are for the later satnavs and won't work in your car.

Also do you know if your device works? A lot have failed lasers at this age. Can you borrow a disc off someone to try before spending money?
