Default Genuine oil filter markings ?

Hi all,

I have just ordered and received an advertised genuine 2.0d oil filter quoting the correct Volvo part number etc.
The filter arrived in a Volvo filter box with the correct ref on the outside ( exactly the same as all previous ordered filters fro various suppliers ) but the filter insert states ' Purflux ' part ref L337 ?
Does anybody know if this is gen or not ? Does anybody have a filter that they can cross ref ?

Thanks,
Andy

I cant say if its a genuine Item however I know 100% that Volvo dont make anything themselves for the engine or most of the car. Purflux are the original manufacturers for a lot of German companies so chances are its a genuine filter, if not it is of high enough quality not to worry about.
