  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Very good video, no mention of earthing the units though. Also the C30 is a bit of different setup to the S40/V50 but any idiot should be able to work out the difference.

My advice would be make sure you earth the lighting circuit from the negative input (minimum) to be prudent I'd earth the ballast too!

I've been reading swisstony's post here: http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...52#post1289652

where he says that earthing at the ballast itself is sufficient. Been thinking of doing that.

Yeah, i'm the same.
Will probably end up doing both when i get down to it.
Hate having to cobble things together so just need to find proper two/three way connectors etc.

Nice pics jocker - well crammed into the lighting unit. My ballasts are too big to fit, otherwise I would have done the same.

I think between us all we have pretty much covered HID fitting!
