Question Right hand side = near or off side??

It might be a silly question but one which could catch me out if I am not careful.
Is the right hand side of the car the drivers or passenger side? Right hand perspective from sitting behind the drivers seat (yes I know it is classed as a right hand drive) or right hand side from viewing the car from the front.

My ABS/brake service warning light has been coming on now for a good few weeks but only if I am driving in the rain never during dry weather, have had it in my local indy and they reported that the fault code is coming up as rear right hand side sensor and/or ring. I was out in it the other day during the rain and as expected the amber warning light came on but the traction control kept kicking in (not happened before), I was going no faster than 20mph at the time. I bit the bullet and ordered a rear right ABS sensor as I see this as being an easier option to change than the whole bearing.
Just want to make certain I remove the correct one.

Taken from the perspective of the driver in the driving seat:-
Left side is near to the curb, known as "nearside" (near to the curb of course).
Other side is off-side or right.
At least this is so in the UK and other right-hand drive countries.
