Amazon Rear Doors
This week I'm replacing my 1963 122S 4 door saloon's rear doors. The old ones have rusted badly at the bottom, but are easily repairable and well worth saving. Here are some photos of the OS door (the NS should be off the car tomorrow):
... as you may see they look pretty good from 6'. But the bottom 4" of the outer skins are rotten. The inside skins are not so bad, they mostly need some Kurust and painting with Hamerite. Here is a close up of the worst damage. The NS door is not so bad, but still needs a repair. If someone wants the doors as they are now to repair, then I'm happy to let them go for a £100 contribution towards Great Aunt Maud's project costs. If there isn't any demand I'll repair the doors and sell them on eBay (when I get round to it). :-) Alan PS. If anyone is interested it is fine to call on 07533622390.

NSR Door
I've just got round to changing the NSR door, so both the old ones are now off the motor car. Here are some photos of the NSR:
The condition of this one is not so bad - indeed it just needs a small repair (about 4" wide) to the outer skin: The inner skin is pretty good: If anyone wants the doors the way they are for restoration they are still £100/pair collected from NN18 8PF. If there are no takers by the summer I'll weld some new bottoms on both doors and sell them on eBay (although by then the price will be around £200/each). :-)

Free to a good home
I have not got round to repairing these two rear doors all summer, and I'm now too busy with a second project motor car.
I don't want to leave them outside during the winter, so they are now free to a good home. I'll keep them until October, but then they will go to the Romanian scrap guy if no one wants them. Alan
