Question need undercarrage & vaccum info

Hi there,

1)My 240 SE front undercarrage makes a clunk sound when it hits a pothole. Do I have to replace or tighten something?

2) There is a round black and white plastic that is conected to the the engine with a hose on oneside, when it is unplug there is a strong suction of air, on the otherside there is anothere hose that goes to the firewall infront of the driver, when unplug no air. What is the function of this whole assambly and which side should the white colour face, the engine or firewall?

3) Anybody knows where can I get a scalemodel of 240 cars especially GLT, Se or CLASSIC models?

If the clunk is from the front floor area is is likely to be the bottom wishbone rear bush where it fits onto the body has deteriorated and may need replacing. Jack the car up and see if the wishbone will lever forward easily.
