Default Emission warning light

Hi all...

Your help is needed... our 2012 c30 snagged a metal ground post (gate retainer), It has smashed the undertray and it looks like the front exhaust flexi has been damaged.. My issue is that the Emissions engine warning light is now on and the car is on reduced power... The hand book states emissions... Does the front pipe have a sensor that could have been damaged?

Appreciate any feedback..

Even if you have not damaged the sensor, damaging the exhaust before the sensor will cause it to read out of range and activate the error.
