VOLVO V50 engine service required

HI, MY CAR JUST PASS MOT AND FULL SERVICED at VOLVO specialist ...BUT AFTER 2 WEEKS A MESSAGE COME UP..."ENGINE SERVICE REQUIRED".
A carry on driving and now A ORANGE ENGINE LOGO ON PANEL... Also HAVE NO POWER WHEN DRIVING UPHILL... Help please. Cheers

Stop driving the car, it sounds like you're doing further damage to it.

Also what engine is it etc..

I dunno munch about the diesels sorry but yeah I think if the warnings are getting worse it's a good idea to leave it be until you work out what's wrong. Maybe getting it connected to VIDA would be a good starting point.

VIDA scan show code: ECM-2A30. Means problem on DPF . Volvo specialist says need to change it all and will cost me over 700 no less. But after SCAN the lights go Off. So I used STP dpf cleaner. My car driving amazing again... Now I need to use STP about every 2000 miles.
(I have the option to clean with Halfords. 85 full deep cleaning.) cheers
