Radio code

I see that the thread has closed on the Radio code subject.

Is there somewhere else/ somebody else who can help as mine is locked - it’s a standard unit on a 1994 T5-R.

Looks like it could be sourced from vin or reg number (assuming not recoded previously)

Have you taken the unit out to see if it's written on there somewhere? I've found they often are.....!

The code might even be written on the hand book or service record. Mine was.

I have the original letter from Volvo with my radio code

If the radio is original to the car, ask any Volvo dealer for the code.

Edit: some are more helpful than others. I find the parts chappies are the most helpful.

Didn’t realise it was that easy to pull radio out 🫣

As hoped, some kind sole had written it on the radio - see pic
