Default Aero Vu wiper blades

Hi all,

I tried to fit my recently purchased Aero Vu wiper blades to my S40 today, but couldn't get them to fit. Old ones went back on happily. Seems that the end of the curved metal doesn't want to go all the way in - hitting or jamming against something. Am I doing something really stupid here? As they were pretty cheap off ebay, they didn't come with any clear instructions.

Cheers

I think I had some of those, they are quite stiff, I think its due to a locking tab on them meaning that they will seat if you use a bit more force ie hold the wiper arm and push.

I bought front Aero type wipers on e bay and they made such a racket I had to turn the music up and smeared the screen so badly I thought about increasing my life insurance coverage. I then went to fit a rear wiper, only it didn't despite several type specific claims on the 2 different Fleabay sites.
There are three companies I would consider buying my next wipers from, Bosch, Bosch and Bosch.

I can see what seems to be a pin or tab across the centre in the inside. Is that expecting to break?

heh, fair enough. I'll give that ago. Even if I break them, they were only about £6
