Default Cheshire section meeting november 2014

Thanks for everyone who came along the meeting on the 10th. A particular thank you to those who traveled some distance. It is really appreciated. We had a very interesting evening with the IAM who explained a little bit about what they do and gave us a few tips on how we could not only improve our driving but also enjoy it more. The North Staffordshire Section of the IAM meet every Thursday at the Fire Station near to Sandyford which is just outside Tunstall for those who live close enough and want to learn more and even put themselves forward for the IAM membership and take the test itself. We welcomed Alf Millhern (apologies if I have read this incorrect, let me know Alf). It was nice to meet you Alf and we hope to see you again in the future.

I am planning to attend the Cheshire Section of the Saab Owners Club on Wednesday 3rd December for their monthly meeting, to discuss the possibility of doing some joint events next year which may include meetings and or Joint Club stands at local shows. If anyone would like to join me they meet at the Red Bull in Church Lawton which is about a mile from the Bleeding Wolf towards Talke Pits just through the traffic lights on the left hand side. They meet around 7.30-8.00pm.

The Christmas meal will take place at our usual venue on Monday 8th December at 7.30. If you would like to join us it may still be possible to book you a seat at the table just let me know asap. There is a £10 deposit required which needs to be paid on booking( non returnable)

The next meeting after the Christmas Meal will be on SUNDAY 7TH FEBRUARY 2015 AT 12 NOON

Hope to see you all soon. But if I don't see you before Christmas may I take the opportunity to wish you a very happy christmas and a peaceful and prosperous 2015

PS Many thanks for your support during the early stages of this new section it is very much appreciated

PSS IF YOU HAVEN'T ATTENDED BEFORE PLEASE GIVE US A TRY WE ARE A FRIENDLY CROWD AND WE WILL MAKE YOU VERY WELCOME.

So there is already a list of attendees for the Christmas Meal? Not been able to make a meet yet but I am hoping to make one eventually. The 8th December is actually a date I can manage as well!
