Well like I say Jame's, I'll it till very late on tonight and if nothing, the cheque's getting cancelled, I'd rather loose £25 (is what Iv'e told what it is to cancel a cheque, which I think's bollox as there getting paid to work in bank's anyway!!!!), than £86!

Hi,
Best thing to do would be to reprt the seller to ebay as a start. They will then get in touch with the seller and you should then here from them.. If not, then claim your money back through ebay... Des. . .

Over how long a period have you been trying to contact the seller? They may have gone away for a few days etc. I only mention it as its happened to me a few times. If theyve got 98% + positive feedback then its unlikely that theyre taking the money and running - it may be that theres a genuine problem.
As Des says, once youve tried everything else and allowed long enough for a response you can report it to ebay, put in a claim for the money and then leave negative feedback. I have bought and sold on ebay for a few years now (493 feedback) and have only been caught out a few times - unless Ive inspected the goods and met the seller I would not bid more money than I could afford to lose!

You can get the seller's contact info from eBay (you have their ID plus the item number). Do an 'Advanced Search' from the top right of the 'My eBay' pageand you will get the required screen. This will return the registered telephone number and you can call the seller.
As had been said, there may be a genuine reason for the lack of contact. By all means, stop the cheque if you wish but let the seller know that you have done this. A genuine seller will understand your concern. (Kind of costly for one of these though.)

Where are the sellers from?
Here in New England, we just had a pertty nasty storm, and some people have been stranded in Boston's airport since Saturday! They may not get out until tomorrow. I would ask ebay to contact them. Good luck.

Yep, best to phone 'em. Could well be a genuine problem. Then go through the ebay process. Where are they based? Maybe someone on the forum could pop over if they live local?? Couple of people did that on another club forum for me. Huge help.
Good Luck Ken |
