Default 2006 XC90 122K miles SCOTLAND reasonable offers

Hi all,
Sadly I am forced to sell my 2006 XC90 as my wife now needs a car that can go into LEZ cities for work.
I need a quick sale and I need to keep things short and sweet.
I'll let you know the important bits and answer any questions via a phone call but please expect wear and tear from an 18 yr old car - I just don't have the time to describe every last scratch, small ding and imperfection. Sorry.

Good bits:

Just serviced
Fair ammount of paperwork
Alloys refurbed 2 years ago
Oil changed avery 500 miles for last 20K miles (in my possesion)
Good mid range tyres (approx 5-7mm)
New front bottom ball joints (advisory on last MOT)
Recent battery.
Alarm module replaced.
RICA tuned by Voltec in Glasgow to 200Bhp+ (I forget exact figure but goes like stink!)
Large ammount of spares included - intercooler, wing mirrors, rear tailgate latch, 20 litres correct gearbox oil, filters etc, etc, etc.
Will include VIDA dice (copy) and laptop.

Not so good bits:

Phone module not working so error message on dash. (never bothered me)
Remote button on fob needs to be pressed with care to operate.
Two keys but one opens doors only.
Small dings on bonnet and one on passenger door. Small scuffing on tailgate.
Can't find dealer service record.

In summary, a great and much loved load lugger that's not been thrashed or abused though has some battlescars.
It has a towbar with electrics.

Make me a decent offer and it's yours!... Gordon 07926 215407

Best of luck with the sale.

I didn't know Scotland had LEZ zones. Is it the same as London (diesel's have to be euro 6, otherwise there's charges)?

Thanks Kev,

Yes, Glasgow now has a LEZ zone and only a matter of time before other cities follow. The City Council web site basically says you have to be LEZ compliant or youll get fined. Our new car -a Dacia Duster is Euro6 and so LEZ compliant.

Ahh okay. Looks like a tidy car too for the age. Like you say, other cities will follow and all these older cars will be sold to places that don't yet have LEZ zones (I think that's only a matter of time too), or they'll be exported abroad or end up in a scrap yard. Sad, but that's how it is.

Wow, just had a look on AT and Gumtree, prices for 2006 models vary from sub £1000 to almost £7k!! Think you might need to give a wee bit more of an indication as to what a decent offer constitutes!!
