Interior light
Hello Kevin
I have one. Seems O.K. Don't want anything for it if you refund postage. Phone me on 01665 712353 if you want it. John Nicoll |

Normally the thing that fails on them is that the small ball bearing falls out of the switch mechanism, you'll see the spring poking out. Find something to replace it and it is fixed. I've used blobs of weld from the worlkshop floor before now.......

Thanks '940', but no sign of spring or ball bearing anywhere, searched the car today for 'bits' and nothing to be found, looks like I need a complete base unit.
Cheers, Kevin. |

Success, managed to fix my light unit using a spring and a ball bearing removed from a 240 switch, aided by a bit of micro-surgery !
Thanks for all help. Kevin. |
