What year is this S40?!
I have a feeling you require another section of the forum if it's 2004+ Ignore me if not lol |

2004+ Instruction overview:
An outline of the process is here but if you search you will find the Volvo .pdf instructions, the instructions are exactly the same for the C30/S40/V50/C70 family. Main points to note are:
Move across any button blocks (Audio / Cruise).
Nice easy job that anyone could do. |

Jamie,
You've already got a another thread with exactly the same question - LINKY!. You need to make a post in your other thread to bump it up to the top of the list as opposed to creating a new thread asking the same thing. |

Honestly guys this is such an easy job even for a complete amateur.
The most important part to remember is leaving the car for a short while after removing the battery connection (-). This is to let the residual power left in the car disperse prior to removing the airbag. 20min job max! |

Have a practice with the new wheel, put a screw driver in the hole and practice moving the retaining clip that holds the airbag then once you know what your feeling for try it on the existing wheel.
