Default C70 Convertible - manual roof kit

Hi all

My convertible is missing the kit to use if the electronic roof fails.

Can anyone recommend where to get one, or is it just a case of scouring Ebay until one turns up?

Cheers

Try a Volvo dealer. You will be surprised what is still available for the C70. Takes a few days for it to arrive as it all comes from Sweden. Failing that, yes ebay or make it yourself.

Make one yourself....power screwdriver to raise and lower front part of roof and cover and big screwdriver to lock and unlock cover. Better than the original and a lot quicker to use.

No, you're not daft! They're not easy to spot if you don't know where to look.

Open the boot. And on the vertical 'wall' of the 'bin' where the roof is stored (straight in front of you), there are two flaps cut into the fabric - almost unnoticeable if you only glance quickly! They will flap up and the tools fit in through the hole. I can't remember which one goes in which hole as it is so long since I've had to be in there - but you can't get it wrong.
