Help. Crap idle from cold
Hi
Recently purchased a lovely mint low mileage V70 XC 5cyl Petrol Manual. It seems to hunt at idle especially so from cold. So far tried: Turbo actuator sensor thingy (sorry) Maf Checked for air leaks Coolant temp sensor Still the same. And now engine management light is on Checked codes using my Delphi laptop based diagnostics and have the following apparantly useless info, 1B941 UNKNOWN FAULT CODE 00681 UNKNOWN FAULT CODE 00901 UNKNOWN FAULT CODE Any ideas?? |

How did you check the MAF etc?
Have you tried running the car with the MAF disconnected from a cold start and if you have, what happened? |

Codes retrieved with a VIDA are likely to be more specific and useful.
Hunting at idle can point to a bad/worn ETM. If there's a label on yours please provide its color (yellow or white). One indicates the ETM has been replaced. |
